The mushroom block consists of a mixture of Lion’s Mane mycelium, pastorized hardwood crumbs, bran and water, making it easy for you to grow mushrooms in your own home.<\/p>\n
With the mushroom block you can harvest your own Lion’s Mane all year round. The mushroom block can be placed on the kitchen counter, on the windowsill, on the balcony, in the garden or anywhere else you see fit. <\/p>\n
The block comes in a recycled cardboard box with instructions included.<\/p>\n
Block size: approx. 2.5 kg.<\/p>\n
The block can produce up to 1 kg of fresh mushrooms that are harvested multiple times. <\/p>\n

GET STARTED WITH THE SPONGE BLOCK<\/p>\n
Take the mushroom block out of the box<\/p>\n
Place the block wherever you want it in your home. The block should preferably not be too cool or too warm (preferably between 12-24 degrees). Avoid direct sunlight. <\/p>\n
Cut 2-4 holes of approx. 3 cm. across the block. You can also choose to cut 1-2 long cuts of about 8 cm. <\/p>\n
The block then takes care of itself.<\/p>\n
As the mushrooms grow out, you can spray water on the mushrooms continuously if they seem dry.<\/p>\n
In some cases, fungi will come out of all the holes, but more often than not, fungi will only come out of some of the holes.<\/p>\n

THE LIFE OF THE SPONGE BLOCK<\/p>\n
The mushrooms grow in “breaks”. Once the first-break is over, the bag will pause before a second-break will grow. You can choose to let the second-break come out of the original first-break holes, or you can cut new holes elsewhere on the block. Try your hand at it. <\/p>\n
You’ll notice that there is a longer time between breaks. This does not mean that the block is done sponging. You need to be patient. These are living organisms, each of which can behave differently. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
